Serve those who serve us! Last fall New Summit provided a variety of dishes to support the Police Department in an annual BBQ recognizing retired officers and employees. The event was a huge success, and everyone at the LSPD was grateful for New Summit's hospitality.

Recently we were asked to help again. The Lee's Summit Police Department would like to have a meal prepared for each of the three main shifts as a way of thanking officers for their hard work. The dates are as follows:

• COMPLETED. We served the Day Shift on February 24, 11:00 am
• COMPLETED. We served the Evening Shift on Thursday, March 25, at 6:00 pm
• Midnight Shift on Thursday, April 22 (early on the morning of the 22nd), 4:00 am, serve 20 or so
