Who have we hired for our Phase 2 project?
Building God's Way has been hired for the project, who focuses only on "Kingdom Building". The program is a partnership between Daniel Cook Architects and Strickland Construction. The program includes a wholesale building supply company, funding solutions, and a construction ministry training program.
What is the status of the project?
We have completed a master plan that conceptually lays out several future phases on our existing property. A design was made for Phase 2 to serve all of our near and midterm needs yet allow for future expansion to fill the entire 13 acre property. The conceptual design, renderings and promotional video of an 18,000 square foot addition to our existing 13,000 square foot facility was completed. We began a capital campaign in June 2008 for Phase 2. The capital campaign resulted in pledges over three years. The pledges was not sufficient to support the entire project so options for scaling back the initial design was done. The capital fund campaign is being continued with the project only including the sanctuary and new entry area and connection to the existing building, called Phase 2A. This is a 9,800 square foot addition with the total estimated cost of 2A project at $1.6 million.
