New Summit Presbyterian Church

Thank you very much to Julie Souders for heading up Operation Christmas Child this year. Thank you to everyone who donated shoeboxes, gifts and helped pack up the shoeboxes. The shoeboxes were packed on Sunday. We asked Julie to share about Operation Christmas Child:

We packed (and I mean PACKED ;-) 40 boxes on Sunday. There were three other boxes brought in. I would like to give special recognition to Katelyn Colon. She got some neighborhood friends together and they packed and wrapped 18 boxes. I was very impressed that her efforts netted half of the number of boxes packed on Sunday from the donations of the rest of the church.

Today (Nov. 22) I dropped off a total of 60 boxes at Noland Road Baptist. It was amazing to see the semi trucks full of boxes that had been dropped off. I am appreciative to everyone who helped.

FYI, there are prayer cards on the welcome table with specific prayers for each day that we can pray as the boxes make their way to their final destination.
