The name "t4" is based on 1 Timothy 4:12 -- "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." We believe that scripture describes who we are!

Wednesday nights

t4 meets on Wednesday Nights and is open for all 7th through 12th grade students.  The t4 groupstudents meet from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. Each Wednesday night is packed full of food, laughter, games, worship, teaching, and most of all… JESUS!!!  It’s an opportunity for students to talk about the challenges they face as teens today and how God’s Word is integral to their lives. t4 students also participate in ministries like Youth Front and Dare2Share.

FPU

Our youth have been participating in FPU and taking a good look at what God has to say about how we apply His word to our daily lives and finances. It's never too early for them to understand and learn in classes that teach about True Value, what the Materialism Mayhem is about, Money Minds and the Gift of Giving.

Jen Gordon is teaching this class and last week the youth experienced the Materialism Maze. This event allowed them to have a better understanding of:

  • Identifying their desires
  • Finding the real treasure in them
  • Understanding the materialistic society in which we live
  • Feeling what the costs of things really are and the sacrifice it will take to obtain them
  • What it is to have, while others go without
  • Thinking about what it cost to provide for them, their family and being thankful
  • What they will be known for and how time counts
  • Not letting things consume them
  • Focusing on a new direction
  • Understanding that they are created in God’s image

Please take the time to speak with your youth about the things that they are learning and we ask that you continue to pray for them and all the leaders of FPU.

Then King David went and sat before the Lord, and he said: “Who am I O Sovereign Lord, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far?” 2 Samuel 7:18

t4 Youth are participating in their own FPU class called Generation Change.

Here they are in their new "Generation Change" shirts.

August 2010 saw the group move into new quarters.  Members of t4 designed and painted the wall, moved furniture, hooked up electronics, and settled in to enjoy their new space.

The youth got a visit from the Grim Reaper and a lesson on protecting themselves and their friends from eternal death.  Ask them what ONE word could get them through the gates of Heaven!

Acquire The Fire, February 11 & 12

ATF1 2

Feb. 11 & 12, our youth went to Acquire The Fire at the Kemper Arena. The time they spent there was a time for listening to God's word, praise and Worship. The youth were challenged to look at their lives and search their hearts so that they could acknowledge their need for God. Many of them responded to the call and left there with a better understanding of a life in Jesus Christ. Some of our youth rededicated their lives to the Lord and feel empowered to share the Good News!

Thank you to all who prayed for them and to our Leaders who sacrificed their time to take them to ATF. Please continue to pray for our youth and leaders so that they may continue to grow in the love of Christ.
